By visiting Ultra Fit Ladies Gym you are agreeing to the following rules:
-
Last entry for the steam room is 1 hour before closing for a maximum of 20 minutes. On Sundays, the steam room closes closes earlier for a deep clean, so entry times may vary.
-
Failure to comply may result in you being asked to leave the steam room.

Steam Room Do's:
-
Shower before entering -This will get rid of any body odours, bacteria, and sweat. Keeps it hygienic and preps your body for the heat.
-
Be quiet - Public steam rooms are a place for silence. This is a calm, quiet and relaxing room. If you're carrying on a conversation with a friend, do so as quietly as possible.
-
Consume plenty of fluid – Drink water before entering the steam room, due to the temperature and humidity you will likely sweat a lot. To avoid dehydration, drink plenty of water.
-
Get in and out quickly - Leaving the door open will let the heat out. Close the door as quickly as possible when entering or leaving the steam room.
-
Bring your own towels - It’s hygienic and will create a comfortable buffer between your skin and the marble. Bring another towel to dry off once you leave. (Only bring the first one inside--leave the other outside where it's dry)
-
Behave - You're in a public place, so treat the room and everyone in it with respect.
-
Dress appropriately - Leave the towel on, wear a bathing suit or wear light clothing.
-
Tie it up - If you have long hair, tie it up into a knot for comfort. It also avoids shedding hairs for other people to find.
-
Make room – If there is no one else in the steam room, feel free to lay down on the bench, but as soon as more people enter, sit up and make room for others.
-
Keep it tidy – It is your responsibility you clean up after yourself and make sure the steam room is left in a good condition for the next member.

Steam Room Don'ts:
-
Eat - Do not eat before or during your steam session.
-
Wear workout attire - Do not enter directly after your workout in the same attire.
-
Use essential oils - The steam room is a small and warm space, do not use any lotions or pour any essential oils on yourself. They can clog pores or create slippery surfaces. They can be very unpleasant to those who have allergies or suffer from asthma.
-
Bring your electronics - The heat and humidity can damage devices – and it disrupts the calm vibe.
-
Shave/Groom - The steam is NOT a place to brush your hair, brush your teeth, or shave. It's unsanitary and not the right environment.
-
Relax too much - Groaning, sighing, or moaning will disturb everyone around you. You need to prevent your relaxation from affecting everyone else's.

Avoid the Steam Room if:
-
You are pregnant.
-
If you suffer from heart/kidney conditions, high/low blood pressure.
-
You consumed a heavy meal / alcohol within 1.5 hours.
